1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. Similar technologies — local storage, for example — work the same way and are covered by this policy. We use them sparingly and we do not use any that identify you personally.

2. The categories we use

Strictly necessary (always on)

These make the pages work and cannot be switched off. They include the record of your own cookie choice, so we do not ask you again on every visit, and standard security protections. No consent is required for these under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations.

• bv_cookie_consent — stores whether you accepted or rejected optional cookies. Retained 12 months.

Analytics (optional — off until you accept)

These tell us which reviews people read and where they leave, so we can improve what we publish. They are aggregated and we do not use them to build a profile of you or to target advertising at you. Nothing loads unless you press "Accept all".

• Aggregated page-view and referral measurement. Retained up to 14 months.

Advertising cookies

We do not set advertising or cross-domain tracking cookies of our own.

3. Your choice

When you first arrive, a banner appears at the bottom of the screen with two clear options: Accept all or Reject optional. Both are equally prominent and rejecting takes exactly one click. Rejecting changes nothing about what you can read here — every page remains fully available.

4. Changing your mind

To withdraw or change consent, clear the stored data for this domain in your browser (Settings → Privacy → Clear browsing data → Cookies and stored data). The banner will then reappear on your next visit and you can choose again. 5. Third-party destinations

Following an outbound link — to an operator, to the Gambling Commission or to a support organisation — takes you to a third party that sets its own cookies under its own policy. We have no control over those and you should read the policy of any destination you visit.

6. Changes

If we add or remove a cookie category, we update this page and re-request consent where the law requires it.
